We ate great steaks, took a bus to Notre Dame, sorry about the loss USC! Great to see Kris, Jon and John (it was his birthday) Diana, Kim and Kathy at the USC pep rally in Chicago, fun times were had by all!

I got to meet Stephanie when sister Kristine Garrett booked us an exclusive table at Girl and the Goat restaurant. Kim Axene ordered the tapas…roasted cauliflower, wood grilled broccoli, even some duck tongues! The girls LOVED it, but the guys prefer GIBSON’s steak house, go figure…

It was a great weekend of wine tasting in the Wine Ghetto with Antonio, Lompoc, Los Olivos, Rusack winery, and Melville (thanks Dave Rosenberg). The Pinot Noir was perfect, missed my chardonnays, oh well…

Noel Hamilton, new Chairman of the Board of the Philharmonic Society of Orange County hosts a dinner at our house for BOD members and spouses. Chef Yvon Goetz of the Winery Restaurant honored us by cooking in our kitchen! Rochelle, and the rest of the Winery staff made it an amazing night of great food (lamb chops, kobe beef sliders and pumpkin creme brule). Thanks Dave Rosenberg for some fabulous wines…and to my mother in law’s chicken sopa recipe which feeds a crowd…
